Sfoof is a traditional Lebanese cake made without dairy or eggs. It’s prepared from a base of all-purpose flour, vegetable oil, baking powder, and sesame seeds. Baked into dense, tender squares, it’s naturally vegan and gently sweet—perfect with coffee, tea, or as a light dessert after meals. Comes in two variations:
Molasses + Walnut (optional) version:
Ingredients: All purpose flour, vegetable oil, baking powder, sesame seeds, molasses, walnuts (optional)
Sugar + Turmeric version:
Ingredients: All purpose flour, vegetable oil, baking powder, sesame seeds, sugar, turmeric
